after taking 1.6 million photographs over 12 years as a location scout, waldman catalogues his work in categories of spaces, creating something of a "census" of people's homes in their raw state, bringing visibility to spaces that largely go unseen and unknown. waldman says:"All I want to see is everything. All I want to know is everything. So I have the best chance of getting this right." i think that to disseminate the obscure knowledge one holds near and dear is an extremely charitable act.
